The annual Bryson family picnics began in 1930 when Winn Cameron organized a picnic for her ten-year-old son Scotty. Following this picnic it was decided to have an annual family picnic.

The location of the picnics have varied from Kendal, Bowmanville, Grafton, and Cobourg. Attendance has ranged from dozens of families to just three when the families of Bill, John and David picnicked at the Bryson home in Grafton on a a rainy Saturday in 1987. The pictures presented here are all the available group photos we have at present.

For many years we have produced commemorative ribbons. In 2005, on our75th anniversary, we sold mugs and T-shirts printed with the family coat-of-arms.
